Join us for Jerico Native Garden Work Day! Volunteers will learn how to identify returning native perennials and the best way to maintain your native gardens to keep them looking their best and as ecologically productive as possible. Please bring gardening gloves and scissors/pruning shears. Thank you for helping us keep our communities beautiful and pollinators friendly!

Learn how to make your own jewelry at home, and leave with your own handmade sterling silver pendant! This will be a one day, 4 hour class held at the Jerico building in Kalamazoo, MI on Saturday, March 8th from 12pm-4pm. The class is $150 per student, with 6 spots available for the day. The cost of this course covers all materials used for the day.  In this class you will choose a moonstone, aquamarine or moss agate stone, and will be provided with all materials to make your own sterling silver pendant with a set stone. An 18” sterling silver curb chain necklace is included so your pendant will be ready to wear. You will learn the steps of creating a set stone pendant and be given tips and information on how to make jewelry at home. 

Let's get together, share seeds and garden knowledge! During these garden planning months, it’s the best time to talk with others about what they've tried in their garden. We’ll have drawing materials available for you to plot things out or take notes. Bring seeds to share if you have them, but there’s no requirement to bring anything.

Enjoy an evening out with your bestie, partner, or ride or die and create something together! Maybe you make one piece together, or each do your own thing - it’s up to you! Love is love, right?!

Ice dyeing is the art of using ice cubes on top of fabric, then sprinkling dye powder on top of the ice, letting the melting process dictate how the dye splits and bleeds, and where it ultimately lands on the fabric–leading to surprising and delightful results every time.
